Description
A four lane chain conveyor system was developed and integrated with customer specified servo motor actuated locating stops with precision necessary for robotic interaction. Different size water heater flue pipes were running through the system requiring multiple different diameters to be processed. The line was required to accurately locate each size so that a spraying wand could run directly down the middle of the flue pipe to evenly coat the inside. The use of servo motors allowed the system to precisely position each part so the robotic sprayer could accommodate multiple different sizes.
